Why This Matters
We’ve always believed that creativity should carry responsibility.
The work we do shapes how brands look, feel, and behave. That means it also shapes how people experience the world around them. So we’ve never seen design as just a service. We see it as influence, and influence should be handled with care.
Becoming a participant in the UN Global Compact is a way to stay grounded in that belief. It helps us focus not only on doing excellent work but on doing it with integrity. It’s not about adding a badge. It’s about aligning with a deeper purpose.
What Is the United Nations Global Compact
The UN Global Compact is a voluntary initiative led by the United Nations. It asks businesses to align with ten universal principles across four core areas:
- Human Rights
- Labour
- Environment
- Anti-Corruption
These are not abstract ideas. They are practical, globally respected standards for how responsible businesses should operate. By becoming a participant, Atlantiser is making a public commitment to apply these principles across how we lead, hire, collaborate, and grow.
What Changes Now
In many ways, this move formalises what we were already doing.
But now we’re holding ourselves to a clearer framework and to a global community that expects progress, not perfection.
This means:
- Making our values more visible and measurable
- Reflecting these principles in how we build our team, choose our clients, and deliver our work
- Sharing our progress publicly through the required Communication on Progress reports
- Learning continuously from others who are on the same journey
It’s not about getting everything right. It’s about showing up better, one decision at a time.
Looking Ahead
We’re still learning. We’re still growing. But we now have a stronger foundation. One that connects us to a global movement of companies working with care and conviction.
We want to keep doing work that matters. Work that not only looks good but contributes to something bigger than us. We want to work with people who value honesty, depth, and long-term thinking. The kind of thinking that doesn’t just shape brands but shapes better businesses.
To our clients, team, and partners: thank you.
And to anyone building with the same mindset, we’d love to work together.
